Homemade donuts made from scratch by Manisha Shrestha and photos by Ali Shrestha,
flour (2 cups), yeast (1 pack of 7g), sugar 2 tablespoons
milk (¼ cup), warm water (¼ cup), butter (1 stick ), egg (1)
- Mix and knead for 10 minutes. Leave it for 1 hr.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of ½ inch. Use a coffee mug to cut the rolled dough, and cut off the center by a plastic bottle cap.
- Fry in the oil at 350 degree for 10 seconds on each side.
- Melt chocolate (dark and white) and mixed it with ¼ cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar. You can add cardamom in white chocolate.
